Re: Garland, AR Wilson and Inabnett families
This email has nothing to do with the Cutchalls, but it does have to do with Garland City, Miller Co.
I was wondering if you might know some information about Garland. My grandfather (James Wilson) was born in Garland in 1901 and moved to Texarkana in about 1920 for a couple of years before moving to Chicago.
I have been to Garland. I met Martha Franklin (who had been the mayor there) and she provided me with contacts when I was in Arkansas doing research. I met with several families in Garland.
My great grandparents owned about 900 acres of land off of the road between Garland and Fouke (next to the Hensley's).
What I am most interested in knowing is who would have the old church records of the church that is in Garland. I think it was used by several denominations, but I would be looking for records from about 1890 through 1920. Do you know who I could contact for that information?
I would be very grateful for any information you could give me.
Thanks,
Vicki
