Looking for the parents of Arthur Smith and Ella Reynolds. They were in Madison Co in early 1900's. Moved to Cherokee Co, OK by 1920 census. Arthur was born in Minnesota @1859 and Ella in Tennessee @1869. Children known are Everette, Willard, Alice & Ella Mae.

These are my great grandparents and I have been able to trace Arthur's line back some, but have a brick wall with Ella. I almost think she was born in Arkansas.

Please email me directly. I would love to share and compare. My children are great grandchildren of Cora's sister Alice Smith-Box on their father's side of the family. I have found Arthur and Ella very hard to track prior to their marriage. I have found some Reynolds families in TN but can't conclude any as the right family. A living family member told me she thought they actually married in TN but I tend to think it probably occurred in Arkansas. Perhaps Ella was born right near the state line and actually born in Arkansas. Any thoughts you have would be most welcome.
