Classification: Query
Surnames: Roach, Glenn, Spurlock, Johnson, Ledbetter, Rogers, Herriman and more...
I have a fairly large collection of Photos that were taken mostly in the Madison County area, many from Japton and Fayetteville.
William Enoch + Winnie Parline (Ledbetter) Spurlock and
Miles Allen + Thresy Ann (Johnson) Rogers are my Maternal Great-Great Grandparents...
G-Grandparents are William Johnson + Miranda Elizabeth (Spurlock) Rogers
Grandparents are William Oscar and Mary Rosetta (Rogers) Roach
My Grandfather's Parents were Maynard Brownlow and Margaret Ann (Glenn) Roach.
I have photos of them as well as their Brothers, Sisters, Aunts, Uncles, Children etc. Many dating to the late 1880's
There are also Friends, Neighbors and a few Group shots. Most were identified by my Grandmother years ago, but some are Mysteries.
Quite a few are on the old style "Post Card" format and several are stamped or signed with my Grandfather's name. (W.O. Roach) I can only guess that he was a Photographer at some time?? My Line on that side has dwindled to myself, one brother and one sister so Information is hard to come by.
This is just a PARTIAL List!

If you are related or you recognize any of these names, please get in touch (email or post) ... I would be happy to scan them and send you a copy. (Front and back)
Joy, I have noticed that you work with the Madison County Gen. Society so I am hoping you could help me?? Among the photos are a couple of Group School pics (one has my Grandmother as a teenager) and one appears to be a Group shot possibly of the entire town? or a VERY large family reunion taken next to a creek... I'm hoping that you or someone from the Society might know what that picture is.
I don't want to post the pictures here or on a website as many have children in them that *could* still be living.
