I am always interested in old photographs of Madison County. In fact, I am very active in a photo preservation project in conjunction with Shiloh Museum of Ozark History in Springdale. I copy old photos for them, and to date we have preserved over 3300 Madison County photographs.

I would be very, very interested in having copies of these photos. If you could scan them and send them to me on CD, that would be great.

In regards to the school photos and the group that you mentioned, it is very possible that I might be able to identify them for you. I have copied many school photos of the Japton area already...some of which have names and the people identified. If I could see the photos you have, then I might very well be able to identify them for you.

If you can put the photos on CD, you can be assured that these photos will be preserved and shared with anyone interested by our Society. Are you familar with "The Madison County Musings", our quarterly magazine? We use a lot of photos in it. Also we publish cemetery books of different areas of Madison County, and we include photos in those books.
