My great-grandfather, James Allen EASON, was born in Lonoke, Arkansas on August 12, 1849 and died in Rusk County, Texas on January 22, 1908. His parents were George W. and Mary (maiden name unknown) EASON, natives of Tennessee, born about 1820 and 1825, respectively. His siblings were brothers Dallas EASON and "Bud" EASON, both born after 1850. His grandparents evidently lived with their son or nearby. They were Reddick and Nancy (Modglin?) EASON originally from North Carolina.
I am interested in any kind of information about George and Mary EASON and Reddick and Nancy EASON. I know George and Mary are listed on the US Census for ]1850 and 1860 as residents of Pulaski County (part of which became Lonoke County); Redding does not appear on the 1860 census, it seems safe to presume that he had passed away by then. There are also records showing property purchased or taxes paid on such by Reddick.
Does anyone know anything (e.g., graves, etc.) about these good people, including Dallas and Bud?
I will sincerely appreciate any documented data. Thanks.
