Hello Rayedene,

I found the Clark Co. WA births in the Washington Births 1901-1907 index. Births are 1901, 1904, and 1906. Father is Mauldin on two and Maulden on one. Mother is Richardson on all three.

CF's daughter Ida B married Shadrack Rogers in LR County 1887. She is Ida Rodgers in 1900 Little River, LR census, head, with Rodgers children ages 1 to 10. Living with her is father CF and sister Lula F (Lee or Lu on census record). She remarried in 1903 to Elias Taylor and is Ada B. Taylor in Arkinda, LR 1910 census with children from Rogers and Taylor, and two adults I can't identify. LR Marriages says Ida Rodgers married C. Helms in 1917 -- don't know if that's her or not. Lost her in 1920 census, but in 1930 she's in Muskogee, OK as Ida Taylor living with son Vinton P. Taylor.

So she was in LR 1887, about the time BD was starting to homestead. I'm thinking father CF and sister Lulia F arrived later. There's an 1889 land mortgage document with BD and CW as grantors. Don't have the document, just a list of documents with those initials. C.W. could be first wife, or could be brother Charles W. Johnson. There's a CW Johnson boarding with Lory Braughton and wife Martha in 1900 LR,LR census. Martha Braughton is I believe Martha M Johnson, another of CF's children, who judging from age of children has been in LR since about 1888. So that's possibly 5 of CF's children in LR around 1900.

Tutt's had a daughter Barbara, b. 1868. Can't locate her in LR, though. Don't see son RC after the 1900 census.

Thanks for the pointers to Bowie and Oklahoma and Benjamin D. I'm going to look at those next. Got Samuel M's death certificate and gives a birth date of 8 Jan 1861 but no other new information. More to come. Thanks again, Rayedene
