I am trying to learn all that I can about my Great-Grandfather. His name is Charles Edwin Tarlton. He was born in 1891 and passed away in 1966. He married twice that I know of, first to my Great-Grandmother, Lela Vadna Collins, and second to Gladys Gasaway.

I just learned today that he had at least two siblings. His sister, Sallie,married Charlie E. Cross. He also had a brother Willie.

The Tarltons were farmers in the Wells Bayou area. I would love to find out who his parents were. I have actually obtained a photo of them, but do not know their names. One fact that I learned is that upon her death, Charles's mother left the farmer to the three children. Willie apparently had no interest in farming and sold his part of the land to Charles.

I see that there are a LOT of Tarltons in that area at that time. I'd love to know how they all fit together! Any information would be greatly appreciated.
