MAXINE HEFLIN RICKETTS
Mrs. Maxine HEFLIN RICKETTS, 77, of Dumas, died Monday, March 26, 2001 at the Dumas Nursing Center.
A former telephone operator, she was born October 6, 1923 in Winchester (Desha County), to the late James Milton and Zemma Hopkins HEFLIN.
She attended the First United Methodist Church at Dumas.
Survivors include a daughter, Janie Wilson of Grady; three brothers, Milton RICKETTS of Kingman, Arizona, William RICKETTS of Marietta, Georgia and Cecil HEFLIN of Beaumont, Texas; two sisters Arlene Shew of Folson, Calif. and fran Roberts of Baton Rouge, La.; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Joe Lee HEFLIN, Joe Lee HEFLIN, and J.M. Heflin; and a grandson, David Grilli.
Graveside services were held at 11:00 a.m. Wed., March 28 at Dark Corner Cemetery (Lincoln County) with Brother Bobby Ratliff officiating. Arrangements were made by Griffin Funeral Home of Dumas.
