Sarah Elizabeth Kennedy (she was my grandmother) shown on the 1870 St. Francis County, Arkansas census for Greys Township, Madison P.O. page 4, dated 23 August 1870. She is listed with a Robert Anderson 34 from S.C., wife Margaret 30 AR, Hugh Thomas 9 AR, Sarah 2 AR, Sarah Elizabeth Kennedy 11 AR, Samuel Hill 22 AR laborer. On June 3, 2005, I find that Margaret Anderson's maiden name was Houston. Anderson was her second husband. Her first husband was a Hughes.

Her brother John Kennedy is shown living in St. Francis Co, Union Township, Madison P.O., page 14. He is with a William Gill 26 AR, Parthenia 26 AR, James 6/12 AR, John Kennedy 10 AR, Will Kennedy 8 AR, and a Jack Adams 21 MS.
