Thank you for the reply. I would very much appreciate any more information on the lineage mentioned. I know the dates you mention for my great-grandfather (Jasper Chastain) are accurate. Past him, I had nothing to go on, so the information you have provided thus far is very helpful. I knew our decedents came from France but that was about it.
