As I am having to use a public computer to write this, I don't have any of my information with me(I have done a Stumbaugh Family Tree)but if you would contact me, I could get you their children's names, etc. My home phone is: (479) 754 - 1150 and my cell # is: (479) 214 - 3120.
Max, forgive me if we have talked before, but Febro Stout was my grandmother-in-law's brother. Blanche Stout was born in Taylorsville, IN in 1900. Her parents were Henry Stout and Rose (I can't remeber her maiden name at this moment, but her step brother was a Hamner.) Henry was from Monroe County and Rose was from Franklin, IN. Rose did not live very long after Blanche was born and she was placed in a foster home. There was also a sister named Cecilia. Blanche was raped and became pregnant by her foster parents' son, James Miller. They were married in 1916 and James Verl was born in 1917. A girl, Cecilia, was also born, but I can't remember if it was before or after James. The elder James Miller was killed in a car crash in the 1920's. Blanche was married two more times and outlived them both. She died in Nashville, IN in 2002.

Blanches' two children had 7 children between them and 16 grand children, so you have many cousins in the Indianapolis area.

Max Stout and Betty Goodlet Stout Aragon are buried in Indianapolis.

I need to make some phone calls to check all of this stuff out stay in touch ok? Eileen and I did attend dad's funeral. I got to know uncle Jimmie, Uncle Ralph, aunt Sissy and we lived with Uncle John for awhile. We also stayed with Sonia Oknan Stout who was Dad's last wife. He also left behind a one year old son (our brother) Norman Lee Stout. Did you know our sister Peggy?

Thank you so much for replying to my message. I am indeed interested in my ancestry because I concider myself as a bastard. (if you know what that word means) I was not raised by my parents. I was raised in foster homes. Because of that I really never had an avid interest in tracking my geneiology but neverthe less I’m courious.
If you are interesested in people on the message board. Syilvia is my cousion. Boots is apariantly my sister. I was hoping that you may have been my sister also. I contacted MaxStout studios. They replied and was excited that that a real Max Stout exists. Being that I’m a rock and roll musician they invited me to come to their studio to record and represent their studio. Max Stout is a fictionial title to their company.
Thank you for respondonding to my message. I’m not a paid subscriber. I doubt that I will pay for it and I don’t know how to access your photos but I will try. Febro Stout is my Grandfather.
Cheers my new friend.
Max Stout
Hi, I am Bonnie Andrews, b. 1943, my parent- Max Vernon Stout and Mariam Elnora Andrews, did not marry. My mother is buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, with later husband Edward Counts, and my father is buried at Washington Park Cemetery both on East Washington St, my mother's youngest sister, Barbara Ruth Andrews, md ca 1942-3, John Stout, brother to Max; had two children, John Andrews Stout and Laura Jean Stout. can any one connect our line to Daniel Stout early settler in Southern Indiana, died near Bloomington, Monroe County, Indiana. I have Henry's father as George Stout, from census data. our Stout line did not move to AR until late 1950', my father was living there when he died in 1972. And to keep things confused, I married an Andrews's, his line from Vermont, mine from Maryland before 1830.

Hello Max,
I wish you luck in finding your relatives. I do think there are other Max Stout's though as when doing regular searches outside of ancesty they seem to come up a lot. I also am a musican and have been involved with music since 9 years old so span half a century in music. I have lost ancestry family members at young ages so that makes it difficult also in tracking histories. As far as some of the names you listed they do not seem familar but that does not mean that we might not be cousins. Best wishes in your search.
Max Stout

Hello Max there are many with the Max Stout name. Almost seems as often as John Smith at times. You can check out our public Stout family tree. I have just started and no doubt have some errors to fix but have about 250 on the tree so far. Here is a direct line and are some on the tree starting with youngest Max G Stout born 1987 Calif, Max E Stout born 1957 Calif, Max G Stout Born 1935 Arkansas, and his father John Melvin Stout not sure on date but you can check my tree as it is about 1911. There is also another Max Stout I believe in midwest but have not seen his on ancestry. But did see his name as MaxStoutStudios in Missouri. I have photos on my tree if you care to look.

Hello. Just wondering if any of you might have info on my family. I am another Max E Stout born 1957 Calif., Father is Max Gaylord Stout born 1935 in AR. I also have a son Max Gaylord Stout born in Calif. Grandfather is John or Johnny Melvin Stout born about 1911 (AR I think) and married Beryl Timms in AR about 1932. Any sibling, Aunts or Uncles to John Melvin Stout or Beryl Timms would be appreciated. With my father also being a Max I thought there might be a chance that there is another uncle etc that he may have been named after.

The 1986 Cemetery Book also cites "Baby Elam" and "Mrs. B. Elam" being "without marker" at Lone Pine Cemetery, which is (according to the cemetery locator book) located in T10N R24W T2, about 6 miles north of the center of Clarksville on Hwy 103 to Lone Pine Road, then east on Lone Pine about 1.5 miles, cemetery on the North side of the road just past the Church.
I have not been to this cemetery.
This would imply that the person who surveyed the cemetery either had this information from an established source, or that someone associated with the cemetery/community provided it.

It is very unlikely to find any sort of birth record at the county level. There might be loose papers supporting a request for a delayed certificate that were not retrieved by the owners, but they will be buried in other types of files, and not easily found.

The formal records are maintained by the state, which has a site with information at:

http://www.healthyarkansas.com/certificates/certificates.htm...

There is also a series of books that you may find at larger genealogy libraries titled "Arkansas Prior Births". There are currently 6 volumes of delayed birth certificates issued primarily in the 1940's, for people born more than 100 years ago (i.e. 1908 or before). They are issuing new volumes each year that include those which are now past that time, and for additional volumes.
These certificates were generally requested by folks who needed them for government jobs or Social Security.
If you don't have access to the books, the cd makes a good research tool - 6 volumes on one for $15, which is about what you will pay for each request to the state, even if they come up without a match. At least this way you have the reference information to give them. (I am not associated with AGS.)

For information, see:
http://agsgenealogy.org/publications.htm

Their names were Frank, William, and Alva. It is William Brower that is my connection to Harvey and Arabella. Their is another Park and I don't have the name handy, but he was killed in the Civil War fighting on the side of the north. He was a relative to Arabella. I know your post was a very long time ago, but I hope this is helpful. My best to you and take care - Paul

I have only recently found William Russell and Lucinda Boen, my husband's great-grandparents. Do you have any information about their children after 1880. I have all of the census information on him and his son Lewis Jasper, but would like to know what happened to Lewis's siblings.

Thanks very much,
Frances Russell
farussell@verizon.net

Penny-

I have the majority of Jasper Newton Lewis' family mapped in Ancestry.com. I will have it completed by 10/20/2009. Jasper's family is having a reunion in Tulsa, OK and I will be collecting info from all of Jasper's descendants during that gathering. I am uploading it in my family tree at Ancestry.com

A point of clarification from my research: I am convinced that the Isham Lewis, who is listed as being born in 1799 in York County, SC and has a wife named Cynthia is NOT the Isham Lewis we are looking for. I think this is a dead end. It is a mere coincidence that he settled one county over from the Isham Lewis we are trying to find.

I suspect that our Isham migrated from North Carolina to Tennessee, then possibly on to Illinois and Arkansas, and I am beginning to think that he might be related to the Walter Lewis who resided in the same area (Johnson County) at the same time. I am trying to find a way to link these two together in historical trees from the late 1700's and, if and when I figure it out, I will let you know.

In the meantime, in case you are wondering who I am, I am the stepson of Olive Leah Lews, who is a great-grandaughter to Isham Lewis. Please let me know if you find out anything on your end.

The Cynthia you refer to was married to a different Isham Lewis who came from York County, SC and settled in Madison County. This is not the same Isham Lewis who was born in North Carolina in 1800.
