Don Thomas Martin, what a nice surprise to read your message. Researching the family history has really been an amazing thing for me. I was in Clarksville, Arkansas, on Redlick Mountain last June for a family reunion of the Orla Charles Martin family. While there we went up to the Mt. Vernon Cemetery where many of the Martins are buried. I saw the graves of William and Mary Ann Bean. I also saw the great-granddaughter of William and Mary Ann Bean Martin while there. Her grandmother was Auvella Martin Taylor Ballentine. I always knew the great-granddaughter, but never knew we were related. Some of the information I have gathered may have come from your research, but I would be happy to share the John Thomas Martin history that I have, and any of the others that I have been able to find. Let me know where to send it. Thank you for all the work you have done on the genealogy. Have you been able to go back past Solomon P. and his siblings? That would be wonderful if we could find that, too. Joyce Mae Martin Koon
