Don Thomas Martin, what a nice surprise to read your message. Researching the family history has really been an amazing thing for me. I was in Clarksville, Arkansas, on Redlick Mountain last June for a family reunion of the Orla Charles Martin family. While there we went up to the Mt. Vernon Cemetery where many of the Martins are buried. I saw the graves of William and Mary Ann Bean. I also saw the great-granddaughter of William and Mary Ann Bean Martin while there. Her grandmother was Auvella Martin Taylor Ballentine. I always knew the great-granddaughter, but never knew we were related. Some of the information I have gathered may have come from your research, but I would be happy to share the John Thomas Martin history that I have, and any of the others that I have been able to find.
