I've seen that version as well. The Blood Rock reference comes from an account of the slaying told by a Udell Jones, as passed on to him by his mother, Manerva (Martin) Jones, and her brother Arthur Martin. I was hoping I could find someone familiar with the area who might have a clue about the exact location. I'll be passing through the area in late June, and would like to document the spot if I can find it.
