Does anyone know if the John H. Davis shown in the land records of Johnson County for 9/1/1849 (28 & 29,12N, 25W) is DR.JOHN HENRY DAVIS who was married to MELINDA JANE HILL?
Also is the JOSEPH HILL listed in the land records for 2/1/1860 (10,12N, 25S) the one who was married to EMELINE JONES and the father of Melinda? Dr. Davis and Melinda were married in 1864 in Franklin County but resided in Johnson County. Thanks for any help.
