One thing I think I'm missing, who is your father? I have him as Unknown at this point. I am connected on your mom's Marlow and Hammons side.

My Father was Lawrence Monroe Wages b1902 Ar.
He was the youngest child of William Harrison Wages
and Amanda Adeline Nuckolls.
Dad died in 1985 in San Miguel, San Luis Obispo Co., Ca.

I really think it is neat sort of to watch how siblings moved so far away to what was nothing then and made a life for their families far away from the rest of the family. Sad that they were split up, but neat that they made something out of absolutely nothing at the time. I know there isn't much here in Knox County, and there wasn't much to stay for but family was everything and they had to leave.

Did you see on the Knox County site where I have John Callebs and Hannah's tombstone? I think it was so wonderful to find them. They were in the dead center of the cemetery and it took me multiple trips before I actually found their graves.

I have a census record that shows Holman with his wife Ruthie and Holmans' brother,William Harrison, Jr. with his with Bonnie. Amanda is living with them as is Lawrence and John.

Was Amanda Nuckols from Kentucky also? The Knuckles/Nuckols name is also a fairly common one among the area.
