I realize it has been a long time since you posted your msg. Hope you can connect with me.
John Franklin Hill signed my gggrandfather's l869 Land patent as did Jackson Morton. My gggrandfather was James B. Hill born in Ala. 1824. His land was in Uniontown Ark. (Van Buren) and was registered in Clarksville(Johnson Co.) I have not been successful in determining his father, but your line of Mark Hill and Rachyl Fry are of the right time period and in the right area. Did you have a list of children for Mark Hill or a list of siblings for John Franklin Hill. My grandfather was also named John Franklin Hill born l860 in Crawford Co. Ark. I would really appreciate hearing from you, think this may be the connection I have been searching for.
Thank You
