Surnames: Nixon, Hon, Hahn
Amos Nixon (1844 - 1911) married Olivia W. Hon.
(Hon is sometimes spelled Hahn, Hohn and Horn).

I posted a 3-page abstract of his Civil War pension file at:

http://genconnect.rootsweb.com/gc/surnames/n/i/NIXON/pension...

It has this data:

26 May 1844 born in Morgan County, Ohio.
Summer, 1864 - Served as Private, Company K, 47th Iowa Volunteer Infantry
16 Oct 1870 - married Olivia Wakefield Hon in Davis County, Iowa
??? Moves to Johnson Co.
21 Sep 1871 - Daughter Elizabeth (Lizzie) born, probably in Johnson Co.
03 Jun 1874 - Son George Oscar born, probably in Jonson County.
1890 - Applies for pension from Johnson County.
???? Moves 12 miles down the road to Dover, Pope Co.
22 July 1911 - Amos dies in Dover, Pope County, Arkansas.

I'm looking for his ancestors and descendants. I have this line of descendants:

George Oscar Nixon, b. 3 Jun 1874, married Margaret Dale.

Their son,
Nixon Amos DeWitt b. 27 Jul 1907, married Sarah Ellen Dare
