Melinda, the way you say Balch is like a ball ch . it is not a town at all, now all is there is a few houses and an old church and a cemetary, my family is all buried there, its only about four miles from me.It's just a very small community, in the last few years, the store and postoffice that was together closed down, the church is used to play gospel music every two weeks, and a few houses, it is located about 9 miles east of Waldenburg Ark. email me if I can help you any more.
