I am a descendant of James H Staggs above. He was born in TN like his parents, but the family resided in Izard County 1860 thereafter. Very interesting life this man lived. We have newspaper clippings, birth/death/land/marriage records, etc for this family before and after he ran away from Jail and fled to Montana.
