I recently "found again" the marriage information for my 3rd great grandfather Marvin Wait Tucker (born 1797 CT. He was married to a Mary Ragsdale on 16 Aug 1867 in Independence County, Arkansas.

1870 Census for Jefferson, Independence County, Arkansas Polk Bayon Post Office has:

Marvin W TUCKER age 73 Male Blacksmith
Mary J TUCKER age 26 Female Keeping House
Martha A TUCKER age 6 Female
Louisa E TUCKER age 2 Female
Babe TUCKER age 2 months Female born in March
John COX age 22 Farmhand

Does anyone have ANY information on this family. I can not find Marvin on any 1880 census, so I assume he died before then. What happened to the three children or Mary? Marvin had 5 children before this family and this was his 3rd marriage.
