I'm the great-great-great grandson of Gabriel Davis through Caroline Davis Goss. Rutha Viles was Cherokee and we believe she came to Arkansas on the Trail of Tears. My great-grandfather Luther Austin Goss (son of Caroline Goss) has said that his father Bluford left their family when he was very young.
