Marc, by chance do you have the date and location of John Henry Dossey and Anna Ray's marriage? Also, you will note that I am still in need of information pertaining to some of Anna Ray Dossey's siblings. I would appreciate it very much if you would check your records and see if you have any information on them.

Joseph Brooks Ray (25 July 1839-4 June 1915…note: tombstone has 20 July 1829 as date of birth) married (1)Sarah/Sally Holcombe (6 December 1842-14 February 1863) on 6 November 1860 in Tippah County, Mississippi, (2)Elizabeth B. Jones (2 September 1838-17 April 1866) on 22 November 1865 in Tippah County, Mississippi, and (3)Nancy Culpurinia Crow (10 March 1846-22 June 1928) on 22 December 1867 in Tippah County, Mississippi, and later settled in Howard County, Arkansas. Joseph Brooks and Sarah Holcombe Ray had one daughter, Elliott Alice Ray (21 September 1861-1 October 1951) who married John O. Ford (6 January 1860-22 June 1937) on 31 January 1883 in Tippah County, Mississippi, and later settled in Williamson County, Texas. Joseph Brooks and Elizabeth B. Jones Ray had a son who died in infancy. The children of Joseph Brooks and Nancy Culpurinia Crow Ray included: Anna Ray (22 March 1869-19 February 1961) married John Henry Dossey (8 May 1866-15 June 1954) and later settled in Dale, Oklahoma; Lou Ray (born ca. 1867) married James T. or F. Delaney (born ca. 1870); Sarah “Sallie” Ray (born ca. 1869) married James Sammie Harrison (14 January 1855-25 January 1923); Hosea Ray (born ca. 1871); William Ray (born ca. 1873); Carrie B. Ray (31 October 1877-5 May 1972) married Robert C. McCorkle (30 November 1873-10 May 1947) on 3 April 1898 in Hempstead County, Arkansas; Robert Henry Ray (20 August 1875-6 September 1962) married Martha Ida “Mattie” Williams (29 December 1879-9 August 1926) and later settled in McCurtain County, Oklahoma; and Ambrose Ray (born 1879) who died in infancy.
