It just hit me, I'm not sure where this town is from you, Konawa, Oklahoma, so I just thought I would mention it, just in case that might be close to you.

My mother had some relatives who lived there many years ago, the names I remember is Aunt Fanny Griffin and her son Dick Griffin. He was what is equal to a county judge is in Arkansas in the county he lived in back in the 60's I believe.

He had a daughter Dixie June, when I was in the about the 10th grade she had got married, her and her husband were in a very bad car wreck. I still remember the very long ride up there and back for that funeral service and it being a close casket funeral service.
