Ephraim Campbell was in Jackson County, Arkansas in the 1830 census. He was dead by 1842 when guardianship papers were filed in Hot Spring County concerning his minor heirs. His daughter Elizabeth (my great grandmother) married Edward Shipman, then John Ragsdale (my great grandfather). Elizabeth Ragsdale is a widow in 1860 census,
Montgomery County, Arkansas. Among her children is my
grandfather Jarrett Melton Ragsdale.
By 1870, Elizabeth had married Matthew Harbin and lived in Saline Co, Ar, Marble twn. which was later called Garland Co
