Surnames: Moore, Stewart, Bell
My husband is a decendant of Jesse Calhoun Moore. Jesse was born 12 MAR 1871 in Arkansas. He died 4 FEB 1966 in Haskell county, Oklahoma, and he was buried in Star Cemetery in Star of Haskell county.

His father was James Moore. In Star Cemetery, his shared headstone with his wife reads that he was born 24 FEB 1834. However, I've seen his DOB range from 1834-1837. He was definitely born in AR. There is no death date. He might have also gone by the name Joseph. His middle initial switches between "S" and "J".

James's wife was named Mary. The headstone states that she was born 20 APR 1836 and died 18 JUN 1911.

I believe the family lived in Liberty, Carroll, AR during 1880 (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:MN7B-G8K). The head of the home is listed as J. S. Moore. In this, Mary Moore listed her birth state as TN and her parents as being born in NC.

I have found a 1857 Hempstead county, AR marriage between a Joseph S. Moore born about 1837 and a Mary A. Stewart born about 1840.

When finding connections for Jesse on Ancestry, users have listed a "Mary A. Bell" as his mother. However, I am thinking that Stewart was her maiden name and her marriage to James/Joseph Moore was her first marriage. I have found this 1850 Hempstead county census that includes a Mary A. Stewart born about 1836 in TN living with her parents from NC (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:M67C-V4Z). The FamilySearch profile that seems to correspond this has different DOB and DOD than Jess's mother: born March 1837in
White, Tennessee and died 19 August 1911
in Sulphur Springs, Hopkins (https://familysearch.org/tree/person/K2QD-YSR).

Can anyone help clear this up? Thanks!
