Lewis Gardner, the "bad man"
Hi,
I had read your post on "family stories" about "Lewis' Trip to New Orleans".
I have heard and read many stories about my ancestor, Lewis Gardner, my great - great - great grandfather. I believe he was a gunslinger, rumored to have been a horse thief, a bigamist, and a "bad man". He was certainly my most mysterious and interesting ancestor, and their were numerous in the Gardner family.
Are you related to Lewis Gardner?
Have you heard any other stories?
My email address is whitediddy16@aol.com, or lonewolfcg@aol.com
Best,
Corey
