Re: Vines Turner,was the son of Branch turner and his wife Willie of Lunenburg Co. Vines had a sister, Mary Jane who married a Wilmouth and had three children. She named one of them Vines. Mary Janes husband was killed in civil war and she remarried. Her next husband was Charles B. Thompson of Brunswick Co. VA. Mary J and Charles had four children; Sally W born 1867; Robert H. born 1869; Joseph G. born 1872;Webster S born 1874.
