Researching these two families that intermarried
1)Martha Ruffin (born ? 1836) m. Volney TURNER (born ? 1836) on Oct 10, 1855 by James S. Cowan at home of Mrs. Mary J. Walter (I believe Mary Walter is older sister of Martha)
2)David Ruffin (born? 1829) m. Jineva TURNER (born ? 1841)
married May 12, 1856 J.S. Cowan at home of Jas L. Turner
3)Would like to know family of Jas L. Turner listed in 1840 Desha Co Census, if anyone is able to do a look-up.
