My grandmother's real maiden name is Leaptrot...her father married her mother under the name William Shelton, but many years later and a long complicated story, she found out that her father real name was William Jesse Leaptrot. My grandmother was born Jan 12 1912. Her mother's name was Nellie Raines. Her father is buried in Arkansas, as is her brother. They were living in Cross County, AR. From what I have been able to find out, he had a brother named Thomas Harvie, but I cannot locate a wife or children on him. Any info you have would be greatly appreciated. There is a true mystery involved in this, and I haven't been able to get much help. My grandmother is 94 and I just got home tonite from visiting her....she is really sick, could go at any time.
