Hope someone will have some information on the shooting death (by law officers) of Lee Samuel Worley, date 1 Jul 1927,
in town of Wynn, Cross County AR. A possee caught up with Lee and a shoot out followed, one of the possee was shot and Lee Samuel Worley was shot and killed, would like any possible newspaper article, the name of the Mortuary, and the Cemetery, For some reason the State of Arkansas does not have a death certificate, If enough info can be furnished, a delayed death certificate will be generated. I have talked to several people who remember this but would like any information I can get, for family genealogy. Thank You
