I appreciate your efforts and your neighbors.
The almost 2 year old child that died was caucasian. She died Jan 4, 1949 Her name was Maria. The family was travelling up the mississippi river when she died. They only stopped long enough (an afternoon) to bury her and then continued on thier way to CA from the UK
