I have a relative, James Price Cropper, who served time in prison for murder. He was released in 1950+. The brother doesn't ring a bell.
If it is the same person, he is in the general family tree of the Henry S. Cropper, who was NOT of the Maryland Croppers. I have some info. regarding the family.
