Hawkstone Plantation

Am trying to pinpoint the location of the “big house” at Hawkstone, the antebellum plantation owned by the Rev. and Mrs. W. C. Stout at the foot of Petit Jean Mountain in Conway County. I know pretty well what acreage was involved in the plantation itself, by township, range and section, but would like to find out specifically where the Stout home was. The Goodspeed publications tell us that Rev. Stout had a steamboat landing practically at his front door, and later documents state that all but one of the cypress-log slave cabins caved into the river, so the spot may be in the river today. The site was not listed on any of the plat maps located at the Conway County courthouse, so I seem to be at a dead end, as far as documents go, unless somebody can help. In the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries this area was also known as the Martin Farm. Many thanks.
