Is anyone researching the family of Hugh Jackson AUSTIN and Louella BRINKLEY? Hugh (Jack) was born 1851 and died in 1916. Louella was the daughter of Jeremiah and Sarah BRINKLEY. Louella was born 1853 and died in 1910. My Great Grandfather was William L. AUSTIN, the son of H. J. and Louella BRINKLEY AUSTIN of Cleveland County, AR.

Louella Brinkley's sister, Susie Rebecca was my great grandmother. I have a little information and need a little.

My husband's g-grandfather was Lafayette Brinkley who was a brother to Louella. I have some information on the family but it seems to stop with Jeremiah and Sarah Brinkley. I can't seem to find too much information about them, where they were married, their parents, etc..... I can share what I have and maybe we can all find out more of the Jeremiah Brinkley line before they came to Arkansas

My great grandmother was Susie Rebecca Brinkley, Lafayette Brinkley's youngest sister. I guess that makes your husband and me third cousins. I know very little about Jeremiah Brinkley and Sarah Doty. I do have a marriage date and place and I have seen Jeremiah's gravestone in Cornerville.

I have a some information on the siblings, but it has a lot of holes. Most of it came from a family bible that my cousin has. I would love to share.
