Don't know if this will help, but there were some ELLIS's in Campbell, MO, Dunklin Co.
There were 2 brothers that ran a liquor store in Campbell and a lady that was a school teacher. I can't rememer their names but I know they were all 3 still alive in the late 60's. The lady was one of my teachers when I was in Jr. High School.
