Yes! My uncle is related to you! He remembers you. My Uncle is Cliff Byrd who's father was Louis Byrd, son of Albert Byrd.

My Uncle says he has a paper from the government to Samuel Bird leading him to believe that his name was Samuel.

Maybe between you and me and my Uncle we can add some more to the Byrd family tree. I had just started doing a little research for him on my own because on Saturday my cousin, Cliffs son, was wondering if the name really had been spelled BIRD at one time and thought that it had always been Byrd.
