Thomas Benjamin Stanford b. 1853 in GA and d in Clark County AR, m. Nancy E. Berry, b, 1856 in Arkadelphia and d. 1929. Seeking any information on this family. I know there were two sons, John Smoker and William Jones Stanford. Wm. Jones Stanford, b. 5 Oct 1873 in Arkadelphia and died in 1930 m. Mary Artie Nicholson. Children of John Smoker and Wm. I have the above subject in the database for my husband. This Thomas is the the brother of his ancestor William Peru Stanford, listed as Wm P., age 11 in the 1870 census. I would like to exchange info with you. I cannot find where Jesse came from in TN. Also, why are Jesse and Rebecca missing from the 1870 census?

Somewhere in my files, I have that Thomas Benjamin Stanford was born in Bradley Co., GA. I am now wondering if that was Bradley Co., TN and perhaps that is where Jess and Rebecca Davis were in TN. Now I also learn there is a Bradley Co., AK which is near Clark! One thing, I do know, there is no Brandley Co., GA! I am about to start checking TN records.

I do not know william Peru Standford. I am looking for Jesse in Tenn also. In the 1870 census, Ark. the children are living with a Cash family. The mother in this family is L E. I think she is the sister of Tomas Benjamin. I think Jesse and Rebecca have died. I hope this helps.
