Here is the situation:
My mother was adopted in 1962.
I would love to find my biological family.
This is all that I know.

I know my biological grandmothers name is Shirley Ann Garner. She was born 10/5/1940 in Amity, AR. She would later marry Hugh Potter and I belive they are still married.
From what I understand, her family knew nothing of my mother. As she apparently moved away to California to have my mother and give her up for adoption.
I have attempted to contact her but to no avail.

I know very little of my biological grandfather.
In fact, I wonder if he ever knew he had a daughter.
Here is what I know, according to the records given to my mother:
He was 23 years old in 1963.
He was Church of Christ.
He was 6ft tall, 175 lbs, medium build.
He had brown eyes, medium brown hair.
His hair was wavy.
He served in the Navy after 4 years of high school.
His father was in timber.
He was one of three children.
His sister lived in Gold Beach, OR as a housewife with 2 children.
His brother worked in a machine shop in Amity, AR and had one child.
He was married at the time and had a one year old child.
It said that he and Shirley had known each other for a very long time.
Made me wonder if perhaps they were high school sweethearts?
