Looking for William C. & Martha Fanning who resided in Winona Twp, Carroll Co., Arkansas. They are listed in the 1920 & 1930 Census in that Twp. In 1930 William C. Fanning was 64 years of age - born ca 1866 in Arkansas.

They had a daughter named Ellen who was listed as 12 years old in 1920. She was not listed in the 1930 census.

William C. Fanning cannot be located in the 1900 or 1910 Census. He was listed as single in the 1870 & 1880 Census records of Van Buren Twp., Union Co., Ark. in the home of his parents:
James G. Fanning & Mary P. Sims who were married June 27, 1855 in Union Co., Ark. James G. Fanning was born ca. 1824 in Ga. and Mary P. Sims was born ca. 1839 in Ala. The first census they are found in is 1860 Van Buren Twp., Union Co., Ark. House # 327.
James G. Fanning bought 40 acres in Union Co. on July 1, 1859.
