I have William Carlton Fanning on the 1900 Fed Census for Carroll Co. Arkansas. He was widowed listed as Carton/ s/b Carlton with a 4 year old son named Curtis living with his parents James W. Fanning and Mary Sarah Elizabeth Birkes. In 1880 he is on the Fed. Census for Carroll Co. Ark. with wife Alice Baker mother of Curtis. I haven't found him in 1910. But Martha Harp daughter of James Harp 1855-1922 and Mary Tennessee Hooper 1864-1931 was still living with her parents on the 1910 Carroll Co. Arkansas Federal Census. Without the 1910 census for W.C. Fanning, I don't know who the mother was.
