Seaman B. Richardson, age 87, member of a pioneer family, died Wednesday of last week at his home in Alpena Pass, following a stroke. Burial will be at Alpena Pass this afternoon (Thursday) with Rev. Flant and Rev. Bailey in charge of services at the Assembly of God church.

The deceased was born and reared in Carroll county and had lived all his life in this section. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Sula Haynes, Richmond, Calif.; Mrs. E. O. Cord, Compton; three sons, Garland of Westminister, Calif.; Clarence and Willie Richardson, both of Alpena Pass; one brother, J. B. Richardson, and one sister, Mrs. Telitha Silver, both of Los Angeles, Calif.; also 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
