VICTIM OF FLAMES LEAVES ONLY ONE CLOSE RELATIVE

George Pickens Henry, 67, who died yesterday from burns received in a fire at his home, left only one close relative, Mrs. Jim B. Johnson of Hermitage. Mr. Henry died en route to Davis hospital in an ambulance about 2:20 p.m. He was asleep in a bedroom at his home, 513 East Second, when flames enveloped the room and caught bedclothing. Suffocation was also believed to have contributed to his death. Mr. Henry was a native of Hermitage. He was born in 1880. Since coming to Pine Bluff in 1914, he had been connected with insurance activities, and was a former representative of the Cooperative Burial and Life Insurance Company. He was a member of the Second Presbyterian church. Mr. Henry was married January 1, 1917 to the former Alice Swob, who died here March 9, 1942. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Ralph Robinson and Son Mortuary.
