My Roy family came to Boone County, Arkansas before the 1880 census was taken and after the 1870 census was taken in MO.
John & Martha Goswick Roy were from Tn but they were in Ar for the 1850 census. They were in MO for the 1860-70 census. Their children were; George W.(my greatgrandfather), Mary, Amanda, John T. Lutishia, James A. and Newton Jasper.

John and Martha along with James remained in Boone Co. AR while the other children moved away. Most of the children moved to TX.
