Moses, and Samuel and family are in Newton County in 1870 along with Samuel Carnahan and wife Mary Martin Carnahan, daughter of Samuel and Sarah Martin. Moses, Samuel and Mary Carnahan are in Boone County in 1880. I am searching for confirmation that the two families are related as both families came from Franklin County TN.
