ALANSON COLEMAN CONNOLLY (1815-1876) and wife POLLY SPARKS CONNOLLY (1816-1859)came to BENTON County, AR in the early 1850's and presumably settled near Siloam Springs. They were both born in Burke County, NC and married there in 1835 and had 10 children together. Polly is buried in Blagg Cemetery. In 1865 Alanson married Luvina Rogers and they had 4 children. Alanson is buried in Siloam Springs, Hico Cemetery and also a daughter, Sarah Ann CONNOLLY Rainbolt. Some of their children went to Texas, among them my great grandfather James Kenzie CONNOLLY. My wife Martha is a g granddaughter of James K. Connolly. Her granddad was Grady Wm. Connolly. Both Grady and James are buried in Hill Co. TX. The Connolly familly will have a reunion in Ft. Worth, TX in June 2002.
