I am looking for information on Julie Lane. The story we have been told is that she was a cherokee indian bought out of a stockade by a frenchman in Oklahoma. They were married either in Oklahoma or Arkansas. We believe his name to have been John. We aren't sure if they ever lived in Missouri. But we do know that Julie is supposed to be burried somewhere in Mountian Home, Arkansas. We know that she could not have died before 1911, because she had a daughter name Cleo(Lane)Johnson that year. Cleo died in Missouri in 1997. Any information that any one has will be greatly appreciated.
