I am afraid I left the wrong impression. What I meant to saywas that our house was built on the spot where Henry Smith had his. There were only a few logs left when we moved here in 1954. The old cellar was here, but it was bnuilt out of rocks and it was crawling with snakes, spiders and scorpions and I did not have the nerve to go in it, as bad as I wanted to. I just filled it in as asafety precaution. There is an old and large White Oak tree beside the house that I am sure was large at the time Henry lived here and probably furnished him a lot of shade.
