Would you please check for me a listing in 1880 census for an Elvira Lilley. I have in my notes a reference to this and I do ndot believe that her husband Robaet A. Lilley was listed , I think it was she and 3 children.

I checked the 1880 census and did not find any Lilleys, or by any other spelling. I did check the 1870 census and found Robert Lilly living in the home of James Gibbs as a farm laborer. it shows his age as 18 and shows he was born in AR. This was in the Mill Creek Twp.

Also on 1870 census, Egypt Twp, i find Robbert Lily, age 24, m/w farmer born in MS. Living in the home was Sarah 31, F/W Keeping House , born GA.

Could you please lookup Sarah Billingsley in the Tombstone Inscriptions of Ashley County book? She was born ca 1831. She was living in Egypt Township in 1900. Am very curious if she may be buried with her husband, and am even more curious if his name is John.

Louann: I am looking for my greatgrandmother, ELZADA ROGERS
DODD SMOOT. She was married to Isaac E. Dodd in Union Parish
Oct. 8, 1885. After he died she remarried a "SMOOT". She had two sons, Roy and Robert. She died in Hamburg. I have been unable to locate her burial place. I have look in cemetery records for Morehouse Parish La. Union Parish La.,
Ashley Co. Ar. All on the web. Her sons were born 1906 -1908. So marriage to SMOOT was probably 1900 - 1910. She died @1912. I hope you have some suggestions. Thanks

Elzadie D. Smoot is buried in Carlock Cemetery in Ashley County, Arkansas. Its in the Crosssett, AR area.

She is buried with William M. Smooth
b. Mar 8, 1864 d Mar 15, 1936

I checked the Tombstone Inscriptions for Ashley Co, AR and did not find the name you listed. I checked all forms of spelling for the name.
