I am also researching the Pertuis family. T. L. Pertuis was my great grandfather. I found a land purchase for Peter A. Pertuis in Lincoln county Arkansas on 6/1/1859. Go to www.glorecords.blm.gov and search on Pertuis. At least it is one more step forward.
