Hello. If you are in Arkansas, go to your nearest library and visit the genealogy section. Ask to see the Arkansas Death Index. It covers 1914-1948 and can be very helpful.
If you are out of state, I would suggest you ask the library if they carry that book or can they get one on inter-library loan. It will cost a couple of dollars, maybe.
If you are near one of those Family Libraries that are ran by the Mormons, they should have the death index as they seem to have everything anyway.
